Color combo and Add-Ons

Good day everyone,

I hope you are all well.

We are getting closer to the survey and I just wanted to give a little preview of what will be happening:

— Colors —

You will be able to pick your board color and you will have two options for the colors of the modules. Obviously you can pick the same color here if you don't want to mix. Now the question is how the two different colors would be distributed over the set. We decided to simply distinguish the deeper boards from the slimmer ones and mix the 4 sticks 2 by 2. Here's an example of this mix.

I hope you understand that we can't offer full freedom for the distribution of colors and hope that this solution works for everyone.

— Add-Ons —

— You will be able to add another set of KUR!O at the early-bird price if you like to.

— You will also have the option to add a set of 4 sticks if your application will profit from it.

— Furthermore we want to try a new little Add-On which is a 2cm sphere for the sticks which will provide further functionality in case of an application like a coat hanger. This would be a screw-on solution and allow the mix of two colors for stick and sphere. We think this looks awesome and definitely has an added functionality. The sticks and spheres would have a thread (M6) in this case. For simplicity we are considering to produce ALL sticks with the 3-4mm long thread on one side and offer the option for the customer to upgrade at a later stage. Without the use of a sphere you would then push the thread-end of the stick inside the holes to hide it. 

Please comment if this solution is acceptable for all of you and if you like the idea of the sphere!

Hey folks!

Thanks so much for making this happen. We really appreciate you supporting a luxury project like this in uncertain and challenging times. We are confident that better times are around the corner!

For now we are super thrilled to get KUR!O into production and we hope that Corona won't have a massive impact on our project.

Colour combos

Hi everyone,

I hope you are all well and safe.

The final 48 hours for our campaign have come and we are really happy with the results so far. We received a lot of questions about when to choose the colours and if there will be an opportunity to add more modules or boards at the end. Yes, after the campaign end there will be a comprehensive pledge manager where you can do all this! In the meantime we generated this handy visualisation of all colour combinations available to help you make your decision. That's 48 combinations! We trust you will find a suitable match for your needs! We also added this visualisation to the top of our campaign page.

Stretch Goal — New Board colours

Due to quite some interest in additional board colours we have now added a stretch goal which is not too far away. At €35,000 we will introduce two more colour options for you to choose from. Purple and Green.

Generally it would be great to get more feedback from your side (backers and non-backers) on colour options, for both board and panels, so we can get an idea about where this is going. Please comment in Update 2 on this topic.

Hi all, I hope you are all healthy and coping well during this strange moment of time. Stay fit and safe!

In the meantime we are all trying to keep going with the things we love. So we'll continue to get KUR!O ready for you lovely people out there. We've had backers from all over the world which is great to see. 

We have checked the situation with our producers and so far it looks like we will be able to go by plan. 

We'll keep you updated on any change of circumstances.
